The SEA Project Steering Group,chaired by DETI, is primarily made up of representatives from NI departments with an interest inrelated aspects of the marine enivronment. The Departments represented on the Project Steering Group are as follows:

• Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI)
• NIEA Environmental Protection Directorate
• NIEA, Natural Heritage Directorate
• NIEA, Built Heritage Directorate
• Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (Fisheries)
• Agri-Food  & Biosciences Institute
• Maritime & Coastguard Agency
• Department for Regional development (Ports & Harbours)
• Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (salmon fishing)
• Department of Environment

The Project Steering Group meets every two to three months to review the progress of the SEA and provide support and guidance to achieve the objectives of the SEA.
